TQ teacher - EPSOM Salt SOAK

Dear teacher,

Thank you for all the hard work, patience & understanding when educating my children.
Honestly, i know they can be a handful, opinionated and also chit-chatty as they take after me.

This is a small jar of Epsom salt SOAK, it contains one cup of Epsom Salt & essential oil
For this round - the choice of essential oil was Lemongrass.
Lemongrass is good to relief inflammation or water retention, and i especially love it after a long day of standing on my feet.

Instruction to use:
- Pour half the jar (Or entire jar) to a basin of hot-warm water
- Soak for about 20 minutes
- Rinse and you should feel refreshed.

Once again, thank you for the hardwork !

Of scrubs & soaks

Scrubs & Soaks

So i had the opportunity to create little jars of appreciation gifts for a function & decided on the following two items
  • Epsom Salt Soak - for the guys
  • Coffee sugar scrub - for the ladies
The Epsom Salt Soak was very easy to make, simply epsom salt & drops of Peppermint.
The jar was sealed tight and while making it ~ there was a whiff of refreshing peppermint in the room. To use, simply empty half the jar into a basin of warm water and soak the feet for 20 minutes.

What are the benefits of epsom salt?
  • contains magnesium sulphate
  • tradtionally used to soothe tiredness and reduce swelling
  • stress-buster as a warm soak always feel good

For the ladies, i decided to combine brown sugar with coffee grounds and vegetable oil. The essential oil that i selected was grapefruit & is known to reduce cellulite.

This coffee sugar scrub is not drying (due ot the vegetable oil) and exfoliates the skin - hence can be used for the face as well as the body. Small circular motion is recommended and after massaging, simply wash off with warm water.
The vegetable oil provides a moisturising layer after scruffing off the dead skin.

There are many variants to the scrubs and soaks; and i hope you enjoy doing DIY as well.
